Visitor visa is for the foreign nationals who are visiting Canada, to travel through the country. The requirement of a Temporary resident Canada visa may differ based on the type of citizenship the individual has. If you are in the list of those people who do not require a visa to travel in Canada, your entry will be determined at the airport or the border.
People who need a visa to enter Canada, need to submit applications for Canadian Visa office before travelling to Canada. The following requirements are to be met:
- Must have eligible travel documents such as Passport
- Must be in sound health condition, suitable for medical examination
- Convince the immigration officer, that you have sufficient relations with your country of origin and have compelling reasons such as Family, Job, Children to go back home
- Convince the immigration officer that you would return back home after the visit ends.

- A letter of invitation might be needed from someone who is already in Canada.

Note: Citizens of Czech Republic no longer require visitor visas to enter Canada as of November 2013. Also, visitor visas are needed, as of September 12, 2012 for the citizens of St. Lucia, Namibia, St.Vincent, Swaziland and Botswana.
